Last week and weekend were crazy busy! The new chandelier for the dining room and the dehumidifier for the garage arrived. I was worried that I may not like the chandelier but I’m very happy with it. It was extremely hot and humid and the dehumidifier was a blessing. The person I had hired to paint the cellar and garage floors suddenly failed to show up. No excuses! Brady came and stayed with me for 4 days. He and Tim finished painting the cellar and painted the garage floor. They did a great job!! They helped me go through totes and moved them to various areas in the condo to be emptied later. It was a lot of work and involved a lot of decisions. What do I want? What don’t I want? The dumpster being used by the workers outside was very tempting. After that was done, Brady swiffered and vacuumed the floors and he and Tim rolled out all the rugs. What a huge difference! Magically, it became home. Brady stayed with me and we had a great time together. Belle loved having Brady here. They became good friends.

GE service came back to check my freezer again. Long story short: it seems that when it was installed, a specific screw was left out. It was replaced and voila! Problem solved. Now, a new procedure has been adopted. The appliances were installed by people working here who weren’t real appliance installers. Now, when appliances are delivered, they are installed by the appliance store service department. Speaking of appliances, you know I was told I was 6th on the list in New England to receive my dishwasher. I got a phone call from the appliance salesman last week. Oh boy, I thought, my dishwasher is here!! The salesman told me there was a “pause” on my dishwasher. It will be available next August! You can imagine my reaction. But, he continued, they can give you a newer, updated dishwasher for the same price you paid. That one will be available next May! Can you believe it? I’m thankful it’s the dishwasher and not stove, refrigerator or microwave. One thing is for sure. I won’t be cooking Thanksgiving nor Christmas dinner.😂🤣 Actually, except for the holidays, Belle and I will be in Florida. So, I really won’t miss the dishwasher. We have a flight leaving October 5th.

Georgie from Long Island called me. He is coming to visit me September 12th. If anyone wants to come that day, let me know. It would be nice to all get together.

Belle celebrated her second birthday. I can’t believe she is 2. She is such a joy and keeps me very busy.

Happy Waffle Day! Brady loved my waffles!
