What a week! I was up, I was down ! The weather was very humid which didn’t help.

Painting the basement floor with 2 coats of Dry Lok will be completed tomorrow. It looks really good and between the Dry Lok and dehumidifier, the basement is dry. Next, the garage floor will be done and then the 2 sets of stairs to the basement will be stained. The electrician installed 2 outlets in the garage. Tax Free weekend came at a perfect time for me. I’ve ordered a small dehumidifier for the garage. It should arrive within a few days. On Bridge St., I had a central vacuum. So today, I bought a vacuum cleaner. I also bought my couch for the living room and oriental stair treads for the front stairs. The dining room chandelier is arriving Monday. I’m anxious to see it.

Jill and the children visited for a few days and they all helped with the shelving and organizing the bins. It was a lot of work and everyone worked hard. Brendon came Saturday and helped bring additional bins that were still at Tim’s. Those of you who followed the ALS blog may remember the egg chair I bought. It has been in the box, unopened all these years. Brady and Brendon put it together and it’s on the front porch. They also installed a long gate that closes off the porch so that Belle can stay out there with me and I don’t have to worry about her getting off the porch.

Tim had a cookout and invited the Cahill’s. It was very nice to relax and talk over a delicious dinner. Tim has become quite a master of the grill.

I hope everyone had a Happy Waffle Day !

Love, (Auntie) Beverly
