Only 2.5 weeks left. I can’t believe we have been here so long! Everyday was a great day! But, I will have plenty to do when I get back to the Cape. No more fooling around. There’s work to do. The patio is installed and before I left for Florida, I got 3 estimates for finishing the closets. I am donating all of my scrapbooking materials to our church ladies club summer fair. That will make a huge difference in the loft.

I brought my car back for what I thought was the last repair. However, the garage received the wrong part so, I have to go back again.

I was checking my credit card app to see if a purchase I made had been posted and you can imagine my surprise to find 11 Uber trips charged all in a row. One was for $97 and the rest were all over $25. I called the credit card company right away and they filed a fraud report.

The weather had been hot for a few days but it’s dropping into the 60’s tonight. Tomorrow will be in the 70’s. Belle and I are going to Mo’s for breakfast in the morning.

About 30 years ago, I was diagnosed with Dupuytrens Contracture. I was able to avoid surgery and cure it with exercises. However, the doctor warned me it would return. And, it has! Unfortunately, it is hereditary. My mother had it in both hands and I know she had surgery in one hand. I’m not sure about the other. I am going to call the doctor Monday and get an appointment as soon as I can. I certainly want to avoid surgery.

I have someone coming Wednesday to take away things I’m not needing nor using here. Good to clear things out. I’m on a role!😊

Love, (Auntie) Beverly
