After speaking with the builder and my lawyer, we’ve tentatively agreed on closing June 29th. I am very excited about it. The mover went to my storage units with Tim and I to get an idea on what needed to be moved. I hope to move one unit before July 4th and the second one after July 4th. All I really need is my bed for the first trip. I went over to the condo during one of the rainy days and measured the kitchen cabinet shelfs and drawers for lining. I also measured areas for furniture. I’m so happy that I kept the same trim color. I love it. The builder thinks everything will be completed before the closing date.

My back is bothering me again. The pain is actually in my hip but my neurosurgeon says it is caused by my back. I’m concerned because now by quadriceps on the same side is causing me pain. I didn’t’ run all week thinking rest would help. However, it didn’t change anything. Now, I’m worried that the two may be related. I’ve asked my primary care to order an MRI as soon as possible. I had a massage this morning which helped a little. I’m planning to run tomorrow. Running doesn’t hurt.

I mentioned last week that I belong to Martha’s Ministry at our church. Instead of going to a restaurant after a funeral, some people prefer to have something downstairs in the church. The family hires a caterer but a group of us set everything up and clean up when the family leaves. It’s very nice and the family is appreciative.

Belle graduated from Manners 1 class. I’ve signed her up for an intermediate class. One step closer to taking the Canine Good Citizen test. Once she passes that test, we can apply for the therapy dog test.

Tomorrow is Tim’ birthday. We’ve decided to wait until Monday, after the tourists leave, to go out for dinner at Sam Diego’s. I’m looking forward to it. I haven’t had Mexican since before Covid.

Happy Waffle Day!! Love, (Auntie) Beverly

Congratulations Lady Belle !
