Things Happen
Last weekend was Tim’s birthday, so we went to Sam Diego’s to celebrate. Very good! Neither Tim nor I have been to Johnny Kelley Park since (Uncle) Frank played softball there. We decided to take our puppies for a walk there. We were surprised to see all the changes. They’ve expanded and resurfaced the walking trails. It is very shady which is great with the warm weather starting.
I finally have a closing date, June 29. Things are really getting exciting. The appliances are arriving next Friday. That’s a major step forward. I’ve finally selected a home insurance policy with GEICO. I have both cars insured with GEICO, it makes sense to bundle with them. I have scheduled a mover and will move one storage unit one day and the following week move the other storage unit. It will help relieve some of the stress of being left with a big mess. I will be able to take my time. The days between the closing and first moving day, I can get the locks changed, line cabinets and move some of the boxes I have currently at Tim’s’s.
For over a week, I have been having pain in my right hip. I called my primary care because the pain seems to be getting worse. He knows me well and knows I never complain about pain. So, if I do complain, I have pain!! I asked to have an MRI. My primary care says he has to examine me first. The earliest appointment was 2 weeks away. There’s no way I can continue with this pain for 2 weeks. He did give me some pain medication but I’m having some of the side effects. I don’t think the pain is related to my back. The pain starts in my hip and radiates to the groin and the top and outside of the thigh. I think it’s either bursitis or tendinitis of the hip. Another thought I had was a hairline fracture. I can’t lay on that side and when I stand after sitting, the pain is unbearable and I can’t take a step for a while. I decided to call my neurosurgeon and I have an appointment with his PA Monday afternoon. I can’t wait. There is no way I should have to be in this amount of pain for so long.
Renee and Lou are visiting the Cape and are meeting Tim and I at Grumpy’s for breakfast. After breakfast, we will visit my condo and then, weather permitting, we will sit out at the pool and catch up on things.
Happy Waffle Day ! 💕(Auntie) Beverly
Sorry to hear about your hip pain. I hope that it is an “itis” of some sort and will be an easy fix. Hip and leg pain is only second to back pain. It effects every move that you make…
The blue spruce is so cute. I love them ! They have a clean, soft look to them and don’t require much of a green thumb to be beautiful !
I love blue spruce. We have several large ones here and I’m hoping to plant one at our new place. I hope you get answers quickly about your hip
