And we’re taking advantage of every minute. We’ve been enjoying breakfast, snacks and dinner at our favorite diners, coffee shops and restaurants. There’s nothing like sitting outside in beautiful, warm weather not having to worry when the next snowstorm will hit. Belle loves our trips to TY Park and our long walks and visits to PetSmart. She is completing her advanced class tomorrow. Classes here are 5 weeks. I’m hoping there will be another class she can enroll in for our last weeks here. I have spoken to Therapy Dogs International on the Cape. We will be shadowing another handler and therapy dog. Then, Belle will have to pass another test. When she passes that test, we will be official.

After the oven debacle, I finally got the courage to use it again. First, I scraped the black plastic off the floor of the oven. Then, I washed it with Dawn and hot water. I was very nervous about using the auto clean cycle. I was worried about more smoke, odor, etc. I was shocked when at the end of the cycle, the oven was sparkling clean, like a brand new oven with no smoke nor odor. What a relief and a lesson learned!

Tomorrow, Belle and I are having brunch at our neighbor’s house. We both look forward to these visits. Everyone down here is very kind to us.

Have a wonderful week! Love, (Auntie) Beverly
