Jiggety jig!! Of course, we had to arrive at the beginning of a cold spell! I am freezing! We had an uneventful trip which is always good. Belle slept the whole way. But, when arrived in the terminal, everyone knew we were there. Her little head was popping out of her carrier and she let everyone know that we were in Boston. Our limo service, aka, Tim Savage, was there to drive us home. I was very disappointed that the sod and patio I had been told would be installed, was NOT. I had ordered a Nativity and 2 small metal Christmas trees for the front yard. Now, I have to store them until next year. It seems like everything is “next year “. Hope I’m here next year!

I went to the dermatologist and she froze a section of my scalp again. That makes 8 times in one area. If this doesn’t work, she’ll do another biopsy. That will be 3 biopsies. She also did a small spot on the tip of my nose. This week I have a mammogram and a visit to the Heart Center for cardiac echo gram and carotid ultrasound. Some people will be surprised if they find a heart.😂 Belle is returning to daycare Tuesday, when I’m at the Heart Center. So,I’m planning to spend the day in Hyannis enjoying breakfast and just poking around. I’m sure I’ll find things to buy.

The final window treatments are being installed Monday. I’m anxious to see them up. They will add a lot, I’m sure. Wednesday, I’m meeting Marie, my friend I met through ALS. I know I’ve mentioned her before. I’m having a rough time with the holidays approaching. I don’t know why. I was good last year. Marie and I can commiserate and usually feel better after we talk. It’s hard to talk about unless you’ve been through it. As I’ve mentioned before, we are the exact opposites but we’ve come to know each other well. Plus, we both have other baggage we carry. Elaine, the lady from Connecticut that I’ve mentioned before, called me to say she is backing out of her condo sale. She bought 2 doors down from me and we started a nice friendship. I feel bad but I understand her reasons. She comes to Dennis every summer so, we’ll keep up our friendship through text and summer visits.

Thanksgiving went very well. It was just me, Tim, Emmet and Belle. We ate at my condo and it was very relaxing with no drama. The food was delicious,

I had quite a scare today. I was supposed to be meeting Isabel early for breakfast. When I woke up, Belle had vomited. I texted Isabel right away to cancel. Both of us had been looking forward to meeting at Grumpy’s. But, I could never leave Belle. Between then and noontime, she vomited 7 -8 times. Luckily, she didn’t have diarrhea, also. Just before 1:00, I took her to the ER vet. She was diagnosed with gastro enteritis. They gave her an anti emetic shot and some water under her skin to prevent dehydration. Everyone there, of course, loved her, gave her all kinds of hugs, talked about how beautiful she is and said she was a great patient. No surprise to me about any of these things. She’s Belle! One of the nurses said no wonder she’s named Belle. She’s so beautiful!! If she only knew I never liked that name.🤫 We left around 2:45 and Belle has been sleeping for 2 hours. When she wakes up, I’ll make some chicken and rice for her. That’s her menu for tonight and tomorrow. Hopefully, not longer. Luckily, Belle has health insurance.

I hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving. Now, it’s time to prepare for Christmas!

Love to all. (Auntie) Beverly
