Awww The Weekend
I say that as if I’ve been working hard all week. Actually, every day is like a weekend except Sunday. Sunday will always be a special day. It’s definitely a day all it’s own!
As I mentioned previously, I’ve been researching homeowners insurance. This is something completely foreign to me. One of the quotes I received completely stumped me. It just didn’t seem correct. I was comparing it to our previous policy and the numbers did not not make sense to me. However, as I said, I know nothing about insurance. I finally decided to speak to someone in the agency. I will make this long story very short. When I questioned the quote I received, I was told that the reason they couldn’t give me a better rate was because of the dog. Some breeds of dogs effect the rate that is given. I was shocked and asked if anyone there knew about a CKC. It seemed that the person writing the quote listed the dog as a Cavalier Chow Chow. There is no such dog! There is a Chow Chow. After letting the agent know how dissatisfied I was, I spoke to a manager , who assured me that I would be receiving a new quote.
Carole, Rick and I met for breakfast on Wednesday. It was great to get together and as usual, I monopolized the conversation. They were very polite and let me go on and on. After breakfast, we visited my condo and we all agreed that I will be happy living there.
I had another visit from (Uncle) Frank one night during the week. I woke up during the night and I was sure he was sleeping next to me. I could feel he was there but when I sat up, nobody was there.
This week I have to make a decision about the fireplace. I’m probably going to have it very similar to the one on Bridge St. Tim and I measured out the patio. It will be brick and measure 12’ x 21.5’. That will be good for me and Belle.
Happy Waffle Day to everyone ! (Auntie) Beverly
It is so nice that Frank visits his sweetheart as a reminder of his love for her !
Rick and I are looking forward to seeing your condo finished with your colors and decorative style. It will be warm and inviting, I am sure.
Bring on the rain ☔️ Belle is ready 🌧
